The Media Player Codec Pack is a video codec package for Windows systems. It enables Windows Media Player and other compatible players to display different types of video files which normally aren't possible to watch due to the lack of major codecs, filters, plug-ins and splitters.
Instead of individually having to download Audio/Video codecs from each author, Media Player Codec Pack gathers all of them in one package enabling playback without any complications. No additional settings are required, but users are capable of changing some of the codecs options.
